Already an account customer with a job ready to run? Use our job submission form to raise the work against your purchase order, attach files and drawings, and tell us your delivery details. It routes straight to the workshop so nothing gets lost in an inbox.
One team: fold, powder coat, blasting arranged
Most flashing and sheet-metal jobs also need a protective finish. Handled the usual way, that means a folding shop, a coater and a blaster — three suppliers, three lots of transport and three invoices. We keep it to one.
Press-brake folding and custom flashings plus powder coating are handled by our own team in Onehunga, and we arrange sandblasting as required as part of your job. You get one supplier, one point of contact, and fewer handling steps between flat sheet and finished product — which means fewer scratches, dings and delays on parts where the finished surface matters.
For fabricators and roofers, there is a real advantage in sending folding and coating to the same workshop: your parts are folded and finished in one stop, ready for your client, with no double-handling and no chasing a separate coater.

- Genuine Colorsteel prepainted steel, plus aluminium — so the material warranty on the coil carries through to the flashings and cladding we fold. Ask us for the relevant warranty details.
We are not the compliance authority on your job — your designer signs off the detail — but we make it straightforward to get flashings, cladding and fabricated metalwork made to match the specification.
Onehunga base, Auckland-wide delivery
Our workshop is at 55 Angle Street, Onehunga — central to the Auckland motorway network. We deliver folded flashings, cladding and fabricated metalwork across Auckland, from the CBD to South, East and West Auckland and the North Shore, or you are welcome to collect. Trade hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

How trade ordering works
- Send your job. Upload drawings, a flashing schedule or plans through the quote form, or email workshop@coatinglab.co.nz.
- We price it. We quote the fold-and-finish package and confirm materials, colours and quantities.
- Approve & set up. Approve the quote — and set up a trade account for purchase-order ordering if you will be back.
- We make it. We fold, powder coat and arrange blasting where needed, and let you know when it is ready.
- Collect or deliver. Pick up from Onehunga or we deliver to your site or yard.

A trade account simply adds purchase-order ordering, consolidated invoicing and repeat-run consistency for builders, roofers, fabricators and installers who order regularly.
